FC Tanga Unveils Club Ambassador

Bolgatanga based FC Tanga has unveiled one of its club Ambassadors in the person of Mr. Louis Crayton at a short ceremony to launch the football club’s official website.

The ceremony which took place at the SSNIT conference room in the Upper East Regional Capital, Bolgatanga had in attendance the Deputy Upper East Regional Minister Daniel Syme, the Regional Sports Director, Mr. George Adjei, officials of the club and supporters.

According to handlers of the club, the Ambassador is one of the many people who will help sell the club to the outside world.

On his part, the former Liberian National team goalkeeper said he was grateful to be a part of a family that has prospects for the future.

He mentioned that he shares in the foresight of the club’s director and that has motivated him to be a part of the family.

He used the opportunity to advise players of the club that their choice of career and any other choices of career comes with its own challenges but only the strong willed will be able to hold the forth to the end.

He impressed on players not to lose hope in turbulent times saying “I rose from being a refugee to becoming one of the best and successful goalkeepers the continent has ever produced.”

The former FC Basel goalkeeper is expected to represent FC Tanga at his base in the United States of America and Switzerland.
