Helen Abeongo, who discovered her potentials for music at age 9, but broke through the industry professionally with her maiden album in 2001, over the weekend launched her fourth studio recording album titled ‘Saki Sira bo yinne’ at the Bolgatanga Catholic Social Centre, on the 12th of July 2015 at 4 pm.
The album comprise of spirit filled soul inspiring tunes to draw listeners closer to God “The lyrics in all the songs are inspiring and well-arranged to educate the people on the teachings of Christ, “All the songs are backed by sensational and inspirational rhythms, making the album a unique one’’ said Helen.
The launching saw performances from the region’s finest gospel musicians like Matilda Ziba, Richard Abagna, and a host of others.
The gospel icon, who studied at the University for Development Studies, and currently working in Tamale with Ghana Education Service as a professional teacher, is also a member of the Tamale Ecclesiastical Province of the Catholic Church.
