FIFA Ranking: Ghana move two places up

Ghana have moved to the 25th position in the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released Thursday.

The Black Stars, who defeated Rwanda by 1-0 in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers moved up by two places from 27th to 25th. Ghana now has 849 points from their previous 827 points in last month’s ranking

The Black Stars are now third on the continental table and behind champions Ivory Coast, who are in second. Algeria are still in the lead.

The top 10 now has changed with Argentina taking the lead, followed by Germany, Belgium and Portugal.
