I Will Fight To Get Premier League Representation for UER – Salifu Shaibu

The Upper East Regional Football Association Boss, Salifu Shaibu Zida has said he will fight to ensure that the region has a representation in the National Premier league.

He made this statement after he was retained as Chairman of the Upper East Regional Football Association having received a unanimous endorsement from delegates at Friday’s congress.

Mr. Salifu Shaibu Zida explained that time was due for the Upper East Region to have a taste of premier league football.

He mentioned that the Region has a peculiar problem which is “ the pull him down Syndrome” but with his re-election to head the Regional Football Association, he will use his humble office to fight any individual or persons who will “pull down” any team working hard to sell the Region.

The Bolga All Stars bankroller said he was going to work hand-in-hand with other division one teams in order to propel any team that excels to the premier league in the years to come.

He called on all stakeholders in football in the region to come on deck to enable them find sustainable ways to make football attractive in the region.
