After several weeks of auditions, 21-year old Suraya Mohammed Karima has been selected amongst the final sixteen ladies who are contesting for this year’s Miss Maliaka crown.
Miss Malaika is a beauty pageant organized to crown one beautiful, confident, bold and intelligent lady after several weeks of grooming on various facets of life.
Twenty-one year old Suraya Mohammed Karima hails from Bawku – Natinga in the Upper East Region and is second of two daughters of Madam Gbiel Alice and Mr. Mohammed Karima.
A resident of Bolga Estates, Suraya had her basic education at Aim Preparatory and Fountain Gate International Schools in Bolgatanga.
Suraya who has always dreamt of participating in pageantry was crowned the face of Yaa Asantewaa Senior High School during her days in High School.
She is currently a final year undergraduate student at the University of Ghana, Legon, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Geography.
Suraya needs votes from Upper East and the entire country to enable her grab the crown for this year’s competition.
