Michel Okine, popularly known as Ayitey powers has thrown a challenge to his friend and opponent Braimah Kamoko to challenge him to a singing competition.

According to the boxer, comparatively, he is far better than his friend when it comes to music and will beat him in every singing competition on any day.

He challenged Banku to a singing competition in an interview on a1radio’s sports line Thursday saying “I have a lot of songs recorded, so does my friend Bukom Banku but I want you to put us in the studio to compete and I will beat him on any day because I have a good voice.”

Ayitey Powers mentioned that, although they both have recorded songs, he was far better than his friend Bukom Banku.

“I know I have a good voice because all my friends are musicians. People like King Jerry, Shatta Wale, and Pope Skinny are my friends so I have to know how to sing,” he said.

He hinted an album launch this year saying “I have to go to London for a bout and when I come back, I will launch my gospel album for people to be aware that I can sing too.”

The ten track album which will be christened “Album for T.B Joshua” according to Ayitey Powers is meant to praise the God of Prophet T.B Joshua for what he has done in his life.

Asked why Ayitey Powers won’t quit boxing for singing considering how high he speaks about his singing prowess he said “I am good at boxing too but the reason why I lost twice to Banku is because he weighs more than myself and that always goes against me in the ring.
