Michael Asampana Abambila, popularly known in the entertainment circles as Ras Worms is the latest artiste to release a version of Choices.
Sarkodie released his version of E-40’s choices which has since roped in artistes including lilwin, Criss waddle, Yaa Pono also coming out with their versions.
The New Artiste of the Year at the first ever Upper East Music Awards in his version of Choices touched on issues in the entertainment industry and other social issues crippling the Region.
He expressed worry with issues surrounding the Upper East Music Awards and the embezzlement of funds meant for the awards scheme by the organizers.
The young rapper touched on other social issues like teenage pregnancy which has bedeviled the region over the years, calling for the need to implement stringent measures to fight it.
Being the first artiste to release a cover of the popular song Choices within the 3 northern regions, it has gained a lot of plaudits from industry players in the region and music enthusiasts.
In an exclusive interview with A1 Radio’s Lexis on Sunset Drive, Ras Worms said he decided to record the cover because he developed an interest in the beat and wanted to challenge himself to try something out of the ordinary.
He used the opportunity to echo the need for artistes from the region to think outside the box, move out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves into doing something new.
