NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Bongo constituency, Gabriel Agana Ade Nsoh, has challenged the Overlord of Bongo Traditional area, Bon Naba Baba Salifu Aleemyarum to count the developments done by NDC government after many years of being in power in the constituency.

Bon Naba Baba Salifu Aleemyarum was reported to have said during the visit of Vice President Amissah Arthur that “let no one misconstrue what I am saying as politics but rather the development that i have witnessed that would benefit my people has been implemented by the NDC government.”

But in a sharp contrast to the claims by the Chief, Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party for the area, Gabriel Agana Ade Nsoh, has expressed his disappointment at the Chief’s comment.

According to him the comments by the Chief comes as a surprise considering the fact that the Bongo district has not enjoyed any development. He therefore challenged the Chief to openly mention the developmental projects Bongo has enjoyed under the NDC government.

“Well it is surprising, especially when the Vice President came, our Paramount Chief said Bongo has been developed with so many things that he cannot count. It is very very surprising for our father to come out to say that. I challenge him to count the development that the NDC has done for him to say that they have developed Bongo to the extent, he said he cannot even count. I challenge him as a Chief and our father to come out and tell the people of Bongo and the whole country to hear what NDC has done.”

Mr. Agana questioned the chief’s position to have warranted such comments saying “They should stop this kind of politics, they said Chief should not do politics but he is a politician am telling you.”

The NPP Parliamentary Candidate is optimistic of being voted into power as the new Member of Parliament because the people have been neglected for long and are yearning for a change which he represents.
