Upper East Region’s Versatile Modeling Agency has been adjudged the Promising Agency at this year’s Africa Models Award (AFROMA) held at the World Trade Center in Accra.
The award scheme is instituted to give recognition to Modeling Agencies and Models who have been exceptional in the year under review.
In an interview with A1 Radio, Reina Ayelzoya, project manager of Versatile Modeling Agency mentioned that winning the award is not just for recognition but a wake-up call for the agency to do more.
He mentioned that with the hard work pumped into the agency, they were optimistic of emerging as winners of the award.
“Whenever you are nominated for an award, it means your hard work is being recognized and it is paramount that you become optimistic after all no one goes into a competition with the intention to lose.”
Reina was hopeful that winning this award will encourage them to soldier on to higher heights.
“We have just started and the road is far, but we are not going to be reluctant, we will work harder to see the Agency to higher heights.”
The Modeling Agency was nominated for Most Promising Agency of the Year and Runway Coach of the Year.
