Woyongo Shown the Exit As Navrongo Votes Massively for Kofi Adda

Former Minister for the Interior, Hon. Mark Owen Woyongo, has been shown the exit from Parliament by New Patriotic Party’s Kofi Adda in the Parliamentary race in Navrongo Central.

Hon. Mark Woyongo was given the nod to represent the people of Navrongo in 2012 after beating Kofi Adda with a little over two thousand votes.

Hon. Kofi Adda reclaimed the seat by polling 20,667 as against Mark Owen Woyongo’s 17,203. Other contestants in the race were PPP’s Kubirizigah Susana Agori and PNC’s Pwoawuvi Joseph Weguri who polled 1,084 and 246 respectively.

Hon. Adda reclaims a seat he occupied for over eight years after taking over from John Setuni Achuliwor.
