KK Fosu wows crowd in Navrongo; announces release of new album in February

High life music sensation, KK Fosu, has announced his return to music after a long break with a nerve-racking performance at the just ended Jams Splash in Navrongo, a show put together by Charger limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters as an appreciation to the people of the Upper East Region for their patronage of their products throughout the previous year.

The legendary artiste who was the toast of many during his glory days in the early 2000s was welcomed by an eruptive crowd who sang his hit song ‘Reggie’ even before he started his performance.
Like the stage shaker he is, KK Fosu did not disappoint as he got the crowd singing and dancing as he performed back to back hit songs off his previous albums including songs like ‘Obaapa’, Suudwe Suudwe’, ‘Obaapa’ and others.

KK Fosu set the tone for a romantic night when he introduced ‘Anadwo ye de’ as lovers grinded to the tune whiles other people in the crowd danced their hearts out reminiscing the days when the song was the favourite jam of town.

The artiste who is a delight to watch on stage for his craft and control showed class by indicating that there was no dull moment with him when he performed his hit single with Samini; a song that got two ladies joining him on stage from the crowd.

On the sidelines of the event, KK Fosu disclosed that he is preparing to launch his album in February this year adding that the album details his life and will be a blend of old school and current trends because he intends to appeal to all generation.

“I have been working on an album which will be released in February God willing and the album is about my life. I believe the music scene has changed and intend to blend both generations to have a balance.”

He indicated that while away from Music over the years, he spent his time managing some private commitments adding that he is currently into football management and believes that with the kind of investment he is pouring into the football business he hopes to reap in folds.
