Some Constituency Executives of the New Patriotic Party in Chiana/Paga constituency have emphatically stated that the party in the constituency has never known peace since 2012.
According to them the party’s 2016 parliamentary candidate in the constituency now District Chief Executive of Kassena-Nankana West District, Clement Dandori who joined the party in 2012 has succeeded in creating a deep division among party faithful.
The organizer, youth organizer, and deputy youth organizer as well as party supporters made this allegation during a press conference held at Sirigu in the district.
Their remarks is in counter to a press conference held at Mirigu by same party supporters accusing these three executives of contributing to the defeat of the parliamentary candidate in the general elections.
But the party executives asserted that Mr. Dandori’s unforgiving heart and a rebellious attitude towards party members constituted his defeat in the parliamentary election.
According to the executives, they are not surprised over Mr. Dandori unflinching support given his “boys” who woefully failed him because “the monkey face no good but its mother like am”.
The Executives also refuted allegation of financial malfeasance leveled against them by the concerned activists of the party in the constituency calling for a committee to audit the party’s constituency account.
On his part, the party chairman in the Chiana/Paga constituency, Sylvester Amoah said he personally pleaded with the DCE to fashion all differences among party members but he refused.
