The Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party has asked all media houses to refer to him as the ‘General Sasso’ because he has to put the loud Asiedu Nketia, Koku Anyidoho and Kofi Adams to sleep after defeating them in 2016.
He said this while speaking to A1 Radio’s Ibrahim Aziz on the station’s flagship programme, ‘Daybreak Upper East’ on the ethnocentric comment by the former Minister of Trade, Ekow Spio-Gabrah.
Obiri Boahene indicated that the NPP is focused on building a better Ghana is not worried about who leads the National Democratic Congress and the tactics the individual uses to win the hearts of Ghanaians.
When asked if Asiedu Nketiah poses a threat, the Deputy General Secretary said “I am the General Sasso who has put the three loud mouths in the NDC to sleep. Now anytime you call me, refer to me as the General Sasso because I have done and i am doing the work of the General. I Nana Obiri Boahene call me Sasso mu Sassa. I am the man who has been able to fire the trinity of the NDC. Next time when you call me refer to me as General Sasso, Sasso mu Sasso”.
