A final year student of the Bawku Secondary Technical School has lost his life after an outbreak of meningitis hit the campus of the school a1radioonline.com has gathered.
According to sources, nine other cases have been reported in the Senior High Schools in the Upper East region with seven from the Bawku Senior High School and two from the Tempane Senior High School.
The affected students have been admitted at the Bawku Presbyterian hospital where they are receiving medical attention.
