Nelo drops new single advising men against Gold-diggers.

Navrongo-based Dancehall artiste and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Savannah Records, Nelson Kampeh, known in showbiz as Nelo has released his latest single, “Back fi di bush” and in the song, the artiste advises men to be wary of women who stick around for the money and other valuables and not for true love.

“Back fi di Bush” which means “Back to the Bush” according to the artiste is also intended to encourage young men to shun women who are not faithful in relationships.

In an interview with A1radioonline.com, the Upper East Region Dancehall music heavyweight tells our reporter he got the inspiration to write the song from the new trend of dating in which ladies keep more than one partner in relationships. Nelo believes music speaks to the soul and can be used to educate masses to bring positive change.

“Music is the food of the soul; it speaks a lot to anyone who consumes it. Music has great influence on people and when used positively can change certain situations” he stressed.

Produced by in-house engineer of Savannah Records, Kobby Beatz, Nelo is heard infusing his neatly woven lyrics of the new sound on a mid-tempo beat.

The hardworking artiste has carved a niche for himself in the hearts of many music enthusiasts since his emergence into the Upper East music scene. He is known for his hit songs such as Besem, Hurting we, Ku yi vwa mo, Anutua etc. He has featured music giants from the upper east region including Willy Young Delate, Marcel, Fase 2, Alapta Wan, Klassic and many others. He has other collaborations with Iwan and Ras Benz of Burkina Faso.

He has performed at a number of events both in the region and outside the region including NAMUFEST, Miss Navrongo, Miss GNMTA, and on many Happy Man Bitters events across the country.

In the Ghanaian Music industry, Nelo admires the likes of Iwan, Stonebwoy and Episode and greatly draws inspiration from them.

Aside dancehall music, Nelo is a trained Registered Nurse who practices at the Pungu Central Clinic. He urges his many loving fans and lovers of good music to check out the new jam.
