Paga-based musician Hubert Addi, known in music circles as Humble Hubert on Saturday, April 28th 2018, climaxed the one week celebration of his 5th Anniversary in music with a huge performance in Paga.

Prior to Saturday’s major performances, the week-long celebration included other activities such as the Worship Night and opening mass in his hometown Paga-Zenga, football match between Nakolo and Kajelo, launching of the album et al.

At the heavily packed auditorium of the Paga Motel which had in attendance members of his family and well-known personalities from the Kasena-Nankana Municipality and West District, the Messiah of Kasem music entertained his fans and lovers of music to some of his great old tunes and snippets of his future musical projects.

Patrons also went agog and got swept off their feet when guest musicians such as Anthony Zunga, Willy Young Delat’e, Silver Boy, Vitus Kutokela, CollisNabs, Augustine FM, James Adda, Kofisco among others who came to support, took turns to thrill the mammoth crowd which kept asking for “more show”.

The Next Generation Band led by Basil Abu, marked their presence with an addition of “more fire” to the already heated gathering when they took their turn on stage. They did not cease to impress the crowd.

In a speech to end his performance on stage, the “Black Man” hit maker thanked God for His blessings and guidance throughout his five years musical journey. He used the opportunity to thank the gathering for their unflinching support for his talent and urged them to continuously support him in the future.

Humble Hubert wants to continue to use his music to praise and propagate the word of God, inspire the youth and correct societal wrongs. To this end, the visually impaired musician has called on the wealthy in society to invest in his craft.

Humble Hubert whose musical career began five years ago saw the need to celebrate his journey so far. To him, the many years of churning out great inspiring songs is worthy of the celebrations. The anniversary was themed “Thanking God in Music”.
