The much-anticipated national identity card (Ghana Card) registration process is yet to begin the Greater Accra Region following some technical challenges.
The registration process was to start on Monday but the National Identification Authority (NIA) says it will make an announcement as soon as it is certain the challenges are resolved.
Monday’s exercise was to take place at the Jubilee House, Judicial Service, Ministry of Defence, National Security, BNI, MOFARI (Research Dept), Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Prison Service and Ghana National Fire Service.
The NIA has since published a list of registration centres in the Greater Accra Region.
