Vice Chancellor for the Millar Institute for Transdisciplinary and Development Studies also known as the Millar Open University, Prof. David Millar says Northern Ghana has the potential to deal with its own economic challenges.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with A1 News, Prof. Millar who is also the immediate past Pro Vice Chancellor for the University of Development (UDS) believed that Agriculture has the solution to the unemployment and poverty situations in the North.
Prof. Millar added that the Millar Institute for Transdisciplinary and Development Studies or the Millar Open University, the first private university here in the Upper East Region which he started, is one of his contributions to transforming Northern Ghana economically.
The Millar Institute for Transdisciplinary and Development Studies or the Millar Open University is currently in the process of admitting its first batch of students for various courses and will begin lectures in March this year.
