A1 Radio has intensified a campaign to raise an amount of Gh₵ 30,000 to enable six-year-old Ismael Amoah to undertake a surgery. Ismael is suffering from hole-in-heart conditions known as Altrial Septal Defect (ASD) and Patent Dutus Arterious (PDA).

Mensah of National Cardio Centre at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra on behalf of Ismael’s parents and addressed to the Executive Director of Children’s Heart Foundation in Accra, the parents of little Ismael must pay an amount of Gh₵ 30,000, an equivalence of six thousand dollars for the surgery.
Meanwhile, both parents of Ismael who hail from Kombangri in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region say they cannot raise such amount to save the live of their son.
When they called on management of A1 Radio last week with little Isamel to solicit support from the general public through our medium, immediately a campaign to raise the money begun.

Speaking to A1 NEWS, Ms. Tahiru disclosed that Ismael has up to two months to raise the money for the surgery. She, therefore, appealed to faith-based bodies including churches and mosques, organisations, philanthropists and all well-meaning persons to support in raising the required amount to enable Ismael undergo the surgery.
When asked what he wants to be in future, little Ismael said: “I want to be a doctor.”
