Bongo District Chief Executive, Alexis Adugdaa Ayamdor has promised to improve the lives of Bongo citizens under his leadership by building the capacities of the people through education and job creation.

Speaking an exclusive interview with Albert Sore on A1 Radio’s Daybreak Upper East program, Mr. Ayamdor said in other to maximize the few opportunities in the Bongo District, he has engaged some stakeholders at the assembly in other to pursue the current developmental projects that are ongoing in the district.

On the provision of potable drinking water in the district, the Bongo DCE also revealed that, he had made some good strides. He said 25 boreholes have been dug so far in the district under his watch and even though there are plans to dig some more, high fluoride content in the water underground in Bongo is the major challenge.

Mr. Ayamdor also said work is being sped-up on the Bolgatanga-Bongo road which has been a main source of worry to many of its commuters and barring any unforeseen circumstances, work on the road should be completed by middle of this year.

He also seized the opportunity to call on all well-meaning Bongo citizens, home and abroad to help him make Bongo a better place.
