Police Cautions Tindonmolgo Residents Against Walking Alone At Night

police cupThe Regional Police Service of the Upper East Region has cautioned residents of Tindonmolgo against walking alone at night.

This caution comes in as a result of a near decay human head found in an uncompleted building in the area in the early hours of Friday.

Speaking to A1 radio in an interview, the PRO for the Upper East Police command, DSP Agbanyo revealed that, as of today, other parts of the beheaded man including his brain, scrotum and penis have been found after a dig out in a room of the building.

He also said “amongst items retrieved from a dig out in another room of the building includes a Talisman, feathers, padlock and other items used for rituals. I think the case is a ritual one but not much has been found during our investigations.”

The DSP revealed that, an arrest has been made but will not disclose the name of the suspect for security reasons.

He called on the residents to assist the Police with information and added that “the Police will not relent in their efforts to getting to the bottom of the issue.”

DSP Agbanyo sent a note of caution to residents of Tindonmolgo to be cautious and warned against walking alone at night.
