Bolgatanga Registers Second Murder Case in Three Days

Upper East Regional capital, Bolgatanga, has registered a second murder case in three days, the Regional police command has revealed.

Speaking to A1 Radio in an interview, DSP Agbanyo revealed that the Police who got wind of the information about the death in the closing hours of Monday hurriedly dispatched its men to the crime scene on the Kulaa river to fetch evidence.

He explained that on arrival at the scene, the police retrieved the beheaded body which was dumped in the river, the dead man’s smock and a box which had blood stains on it.

However, the PRO for the Bolgatanga Police Command explained that the investigation of the Police have been stifled because they lack information and the fact that there has not been any report on missing individuals.

DSP Agbanyo called on the populace to assist the police unravel the mystery behind these killings in the region but charged that each individuals be watchful of themselves.

The Upper East region has recorded two killings within three days.
