Minister of Health, Dr. Kwaku Agyemang-Mensah has announced government plans to provide the Paga Port Health Unit with a thermo flash and some Protective wares for the screening of in-coming travelers for Ebola.
The minister gave the assurance when he visited the Port Health unit on Wednesday and was told about challenges there as far preparedness to fight Ebola at the border is concerned. Mary Stella Adapesa, the District Director of Health Services for the Kasena-Nankana West district first told the health minister about the challenges.
In response the health minister said government will in the next one week provide the thermo flash which can better aid their ebola screening and other safety materials.
