Students of the Bolgatanga Polytechnic to Begin Revision for their Exams after POTAG Calls Its 3-Month Long Strike

The Registrar for the Bolgatanga Polytechnic, Ibrahim Yakubu, has told A1 Radio that the executive committee of the school has given the students two weeks to revise for their examinations which will start from September 15 and end on September 25.

The students started reporting to school on September 1 after the Polytechnic Teachers Association of Ghana, (POTAG) called off their three-month long strike. POTAG called off the strike following government’s assurance to pay them their 2013/2014 Book and Research allowances next month.

According to Mr. Yakubu, first year students will report on September 29. He was speaking to Albert Azongo on Daybreak Upper East on A1 Radio.
