NDC Deputy Secretary, Kofi Adams Set to Contest for National Organizer Position of the Party

The Deputy General Secretary in charge of Administration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has confirmed to A1 Radio that he will contest for the position of the national organizer of the party. The NDC will hold its national delegates congress from October 24 to 26 this year to elect national executives for the party and will soon open nominations for this purpose.

Mr. Adams who is also the spokesperson for former president J.J. Rawlings told Albert Azongo on A1 Radio’s Daybreak Upper East Program on Tuesday that he will pick up forms to contest for the position of the national organizer when the nominations are opened.

He believes that the NDC needs a young person who understands the party in and out to able to effectively organize members of party to maintain power in 2016.
