Established 23 years ago as a day school, the Wulugu Senior High School in the West Mamprusi District of the Northern Region was absorbed last year by government as boarding school.

However, the school is currently without a dining hall and students are compelled to have their meals serve under trees. The situation is affecting lessons as students spend more time taking their meals and often return to class, late.

Headmaster of the school, Amasa James Senain in an exclusive interview with A1 News said the lack of other facilities including accommodation for students has forced the school to cut down enrolment from 700 last year to 400 this year.

Meanwhile Member of Parliament for Walewale Constituency, Dr. Sagre Bambangi says he will provide a dining hall for the Wulugu Senior High School.
