Paramount Chief Of Bongo Traditional Area, Naba Baba Salifu Alemyaarum, has blamed traditional believes for a man’s decision to throw his 70- year old sister out of their father’s house at Damolgo in the Nabdam district of the Upper East Region.

Last week, A1 News reported the story of a seventy-year old woman, Bugbil Yindoo who was expelled from her family home at Damologo by her own brother, who accused her of being under a curse placed on her by their late father.

Discussing the issue on A1 radio’s Mission 101 with Albert Azongo on Wednesday, the Paramount Chief of Bongo said curses do live with people but there will always be a way out after a curse is placed on someone

He also said instead trying to give legal interpretations to issues of tradition, such issues should always be addressed traditionally
