Ghanaian controversial musician and the pride of La in the Greater Accra region, WISA Greid says he is never worried that his wife, Bellaa Tee is more educated than he is.

WISA Greid is known for doing songs that many Ghanaians frown upon in public and yet dance to in their rooms and event.

WISA who said he has not gone beyond Secondary School, got married to a University graduate, Bellaa Tee, a Canada-based Ghanaian musician, earlier this month (February 2021) at a small event in Accra.

The two love birds were on Ekwanso Dwoodwoo with Abeiku Aggrey Santana on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, on Okey FM, which was monitored by a1radioonline.com.

There are many Ghanaians and even some personalities in the music industry, who fear that the marriage will not last due to the big difference between their academic qualifications, but passionate WISA Greid believes that that will rather help their marriage, once they are bonded by love and respect for each other.

“I have not regretted it at all; she helps me with many things in my career and so I think that will not be a problem.” WISA Greid said.

Social media sensation and Marriage Counsellor Rev. Dr. Charlotte Oduro, who was also a guest on the programme, commended the two musicians for accepting to marry, despite the difference in their academic qualifications and ignoring what people will say about that.

“Abeiku, let me say this, certificates do not marry, it’s about love and respect for one another. There are people who are highly educated, both husband and wife, and yet their marriages have collapsed. …marriage is about sacrifice for one another and not just qualification or personal gains.” Rev. Mrs Oduro said.

Asked if Bellaa Tee will continue to live in Ghana after their marriage ceremony, she said will be leaving for Canada sometime, but for now, she will be in Ghana with her husband so long as Covid-19 lingers.

Bellaa Tee is a teacher and a musician as well.
