The host of Daybreak Upper East morning show on A1 Radio in the Bolgatanga Municipality, Samuel Mbura has asked people criticizing and insulting Reverend Eastwood Anaba, over his dog and donkey meat video, to be careful and circumspect in their choice of words against the man of God.

According to Mr. Mbura, it will be appropriate for people who want to comment or criticize Reverend Eastwood Anaba, to look for and watch the full video, and should not base their judgment and criticisms on the small portion circulating on social media.

Samuel Mbura was commenting on the morning show on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, after some phone-ins and also reading some social media comments by some persons from the Upper East Region. In the Upper East Region, many people eat dog meat, as well as donkeys.

In the view of the morning show host, some of the criticisms and the words used against the highly respected man of God, are too bad and extreme.

Some high-profile people who have commented on the video include the Member of Parliament for the Builsa South Constituency, Dr. Clement Apaak.

“Why don’t you take the pain to go and listen to the full video of Reverend Eastwood. Some of you have concluded that he has insulted people who take dog and donkey meat. It is not fair in my view; it is not fair. He was speaking on the topic, “The Deity of the Holy Ghost”. Yesterday I scouted through the video to see what prompted the circulation of that video on social media; that one was an excerpt of what he was saying.”
