One hundred and fifty women in the Kassena Nankana Municipality of the Upper East Region have received service support and money from Tractor Africa.

Tractor Africa is a service provider that provides farming services to farmers in the Upper East Region.

As part of its contributions to improve and promote women farming, it has supported these women with fertilizers, tractor services and money to the tune of Ghc500.00 each for the women in the Municipality.

Chairman of Tractor Africa, Richard Akoka who spoke exclusive to A1radioonline.com noted that the organisation will continue to do its bit to improve and promote women farming.

He added that people should see the initiative as a platform that seeks to increase food security in the region and the country as a whole.

Mr Akoka, therefore, called on the beneficiary women not to relent in their efforts to improve themselves as they have the potential to achieve any height in their lives.

The beneficiary women appreciated the gesture and assured the organisation of their commitment towards breaking the chain of poverty as well as advancing themselves in the agricultural sector.
