The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo has fulfilled his promise of going to Daniel Apuyine’s rescue following a report carried out by A1 Radio about his plight.

Daniel is a native of Tindonsobligo, a suburb of Bolgatanga and has been physically impaired since birth.

Daniel sells liquid soap on the streets of Bolgatanga through the help of his manual hand pedal tricycle.

The tricycle was donated to him 7 years ago by the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD), but it was in bad shape and made movement difficult.

When the MP saw A1 Radio’s report, he reached out to the Author of the story, and pledged his support for the 29-year-old physically challenged man. Given that, the MP, Mr Adongo has purchased a new manual hand pedal tricycle for him.

The Bolgatanga Central Constituency Secretary for NDC, Roland Ayoo who presented the tricycle on the MP’s behalf told A1radioonline.com that part of the MP’s efforts is to make life more meaningful for the less privileged in society.

He added that the MP assured that he will continue to support those in need in society as well as provide the infrastructural needs for the constituents.

Daniel who could not suppress his joy asked the Almighty God to grant all the MP wishes.

He also appreciated A1 Radio for putting a spotlight on his plight.

Grandfather of Daniel, Akaya-Dongo also thanked the MP as well as A1 Radio for the support put on them especially his son.
