NPP gov’t is developing Upper East Region; Johnson Ayine lists about 30 educational projects to back claims

According to Johnson Ayine, a member of the NPP’s regional communication team, it is essential for people of the Upper East Region to support continuity by electing an NPP government in order for the region to keep growing rapidly.

Speaking on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show, he mentioned that the NPP’s track record in the past few years is unmatched. 

To back his claims, Mr. Ayine lists about 30 educational infrastructure projects being carried out by the NPP. 

Some of the projects he mentioned are; “Zamsee one storey girls’ dormitory completed and handed over and the girls are staying there with water supply. Zamse SHS has one storey classroom block 90% complete and the ground floor is being used. Zamsee, there’s a toilet facility fitted with a mechanised borehole and being used.”

“In Bolga Girls SHS there’s one storey classroom block completed and in use. Bolga Girls SHS dormitory block has been completed and fitted with water and in use Bolga Girls SHS also has a toilet facility completed and fitted with water and in use. In Bolgatanga SHS there’s a one storey classroom block and in use, boys’ dormitory completed, fitted with a mechanised borehole and in use named after former heads EK Daran and Avomsige. At the Kongo SHS, a six unit classroom block has been completed and handed over and in use.”

Others he mentioned are “a six unit classroom block has been completed and handed and in use in Bawku SHS. Still in Bawku SHS, a dormitory block has been completed and in use Bawku SHT a mighty dining hall completed and in use. Girls dormitory completed and handed over and in use. Bawku SHT boys dormitory completed and handed over and in use. Zuarungu SHS,one story classroom block completed and handed over and in use. Zuarungu SHS Girls dormitory block completed and handed over.”

“Tempane SHS, two classroom blocks completed and handed over and in use. Tempane SHS, boys’ dormitory block completed and handed over and in use. Gowrie SHTS, abandoned one storey classroom block completed and handed over and in use. Gowrie SHTS, Administration block 85% complete. In Zorko SHS, an abandoned one storey classroom block has been completed and in use. Bongo SHS, boys’ dormitory 90%complete.”

The rest are, “Navrongo SHS, one storey classroom block 75% complete not in use. Awe SHTS in Navrongo, classroom block completed. Awe SHTS, boys dormitory block completed fitted with a mechanised borehole handed over and in use. Sirigu SHS, a classroom block completed and handed over and in use. Sirigu SHS a dormitory block 85 percent complete. Azantilow tech (sandema SHTS) dormitory block 85% complete and a classroom block 90% complete. Sandema SHS, dormitory block completed and handed over and in use and a six unit classroom block completed and handed over and in use. Chiana SHS abandoned dormitory being worked on.”
