Theresa Anamoo, popularly known as Iron Lady, has been elected Bolgatanga Women Organiser after beating the incumbent Women Organiser with 10 Votes at the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) constituency executive election on Saturday 22nd October, 2022.
Iron Lady was the Bolgatanga Central Constituency Women Organiser between 2015 to 2018 when she was defeated by Madam Joyce Abolga with just 2 votes to become the Women Organiser from 2018 to 2022.
But having suffered that painful defeat in the 2018 constituency election of the NDC in Bolga, Iron Lady bounced back and managed to beat the incumbent organiser Madam Abolga with 10 votes to take back her office for the next four years.
Meanwhile, for the Deputy Women Organiser position, Rose Iddrisu polled 76 votes, beating her only opponent Fauzia Nashiru who managed to polled 63 votes.
