Charger Industries, producers of Happy Man Bitters and Plus One Drinks, has been praised for its yeoman efforts at promoting the growth of the Upper East Region’s entertainment industry.

The business is said to be all-inclusive and non-discriminatory in promoting regional creators and entertainers.

Kabu Banks, the CEO of One Love Entertainment, made these comments when he spoke on A1 Radio’s Entertainment Zone today, Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Mr. Banks was speaking on the theme, “Sabotage in the Upper East Regional Entertainment Industry: Myth or Reality?”

He explained that for programmes supported, promoted, or initiated by the brand, local industry players are engaged to ensure that there’s a fair representation of the artists within the region.

“It boils down to the structures that bring out the event.” From where I stand, let’s look at Happy Man Bitters as an example. When they are coming to stage an event, you will see that there is a representative from the region that does most of the events. This representative knows the region and all its corners. The rep is visible, and people can walk up to him to discuss issues. For other brands, we don’t even know them [the reps].”

“If Happyman is to host an event, you know that, for nothing at all, if I call Banks, I would get the details, but others don’t have that,” he said.

Charger Industries, producer of Happy Man Bitters, is known to support many entertainment productions within the region. These include the Upper East Music Awards, Miss Upper East, the Happy Man Bitters Inter Community Soccer Competition, and most recently, the Made in Bolga Event.
