Deputy Roads Minister tours Prang–Kintampo road project, embarks on appreciation tour

The Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Stephen Jalulah, has inspected the ongoing Prang–Kintampo road project in the Bono East Region. 

Mr. Jalulah, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Pru West, also embarked on an appreciation tour after successfully performing the funeral rites of Rev. Matthew Gmacha-uyo Jalulah, his father. 

“The massive attendance at the final funeral rites of Rev. Matthew Gmacha-uyo Jalulah, the father of Hon. Stephen Jalulah by high profile politicians such as the Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji, Dr. Mahammud Bawumia, Hon. Dominic Nitiwul, Minister of Defense, Hon. Amoako Atta, Minister of Roads and Highways, Hon. Samuel Abdulai Jinapor, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Alhaji, Ing. Dr. Mohammed Abass, Chief Director of the Ministry of Roads and Highways, Hon. Thomas Nbomba, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Hassan Tampuri, Deputy Minister of Transport, Hon. Alex Gyan, MP for Kintampo South, Hon. Farouk Aliu Mahama, MP for Yendi, Hon. Daniel Nsala Wakpal, MP for Kpandai, Hon. Joshua Makubu, Oti Regional Minister, Hon. Shani Alhassan Saibu, Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Saeed Muhazu Jibril, Savannah Regional Minister, NPP Bono East Regional Chairman ( Chairman IB) and Secretary Hon. David Boakye, Hon. Solomon Kuyon, MP for Krachi Mchummuru, Hon. Joseph Nikpe, MP for Saboba, a host of MMDCEs, revered traditional rulers, Clergymen and the general public etc at Hill Top, Saboba on 1st and 2nd April, 2023 to offer support and commensurate with the family.”

“In line with custom and tradition and in keeping with his way of doing things, the Member of Parliament, following a hugely successful funeral, replicated and embarked on an appreciation tour on the 3rd in Saboba and proceeded to his constituency. At the constituency, the honourable member visited the District Assembly, District Directorate of Education, Prang Traditional Council, Abease Traditional Council, Cheremo Chief Palace, Krobo Chief Palace, Damankwanta Chief Palace, Prang Zongo Chiefs, Domeabra, and Bayaa to show his appreciation. He also visited Beposo Bikunyom Do and the constituency of the first Vice Chairman of the NPP to commensurate with them,” a statement written on behalf of the Minister said. 

Mr. Jalulah expressed gratitude to the chiefs and people of Nakpei, Labun Quarters, and Kunkunde for sending a delegation each to commiserate with him.

He climaxed his tour in the enclave at the Akanten Appiah Minka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, Mampong where he paid a surprise visit to Konkomba Student Union (KONSU) members on his way to Accra.
