CEO of One Love Entertainment, Isaac Kabu, has cleared the air about incentives and plaques that were presented to some winners of the 4th edition of the Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards.

He was responding to some concerns raised about why all winners were not presented with their plaques and incentives during the event.

“The dinner night was organised by Albert Azongo and some members of the media to meet and discuss the projects on which Happy Man Bitter is working and related matters. It’s the norm that the Artiste of the year goes to Accra to meet with Dr. Bortey to be presented with their incentives, and since he had planned to come to the region this Easter, we used the opportunity to just present the plaques and incentives.”

“Incentives were presented to the Artiste of the Year, New Artiste of the Year, Most Popular Song of the Year, and Gospel Song of the Year winners, which he pledged prior to the main event night.”

Dr. Bortey was in the region to meet with the media and engaged in some activities like football, playing cards, and more at the astroturf mobile park. He also joined the region at the Made in Bolga Festival concert at the Jocom Golden Hotel the next night.

The likes of stand up comedian, DKB and famous actress Nikki Samonas were also in the region.

Mr. Banks also mentioned that the presentation of the plaques and incentives to these winners was in no way meant to demean any category in the scheme.
