John Dramani Mahama, former President of Ghana and a candidate in the upcoming presidential primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has scheduled a visit to the Builsa South Constituency on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. This visit is part of his campaign tour aimed at rallying support for his bid to represent the party in the presidential election.
The event, which will take place in Fumbisi, has been carefully arranged and prepared by the constituency’s executives, with attendees from all ten zones, including Bachongsa, Doninga, Kanjarga, Wiesi, Gbedembilisi, Uwasi, Zamsa, Gobsa, and Chansa transported to the common venue at Rawlings park for the tour. Organisers are expecting 513 polling station executives and 30 constituency executives to attend the event.
To ensure the safety of all attendees before, during, and after the event, the security services have been informed and are working closely with the organisers. According to John Asuaga, the organiser of the event, “We have taken all the necessary security measures to ensure the safety of all attendees before, during, and after the events.”
The visit by John Dramani Mahama to the Builsa South Constituency is expected to re-energize supporters of the NDC ahead of the party’s primaries.
