Begin sending your goodwill messages, I’m coming for that seat – Binduri PC warns Abdulai Abanga

The National Democratic Congress’ Parliamentary Candidate Elect in the Binduri Constituency, Issifu Mahmond has sent a strong warning to the opposition MP in the area, Abdulai Abanga. Mr. Ndebilla charged the MP to begin sending goodwill messages to his friends and loved ones in Parliament as he is coming for the seat come 2024 elections.

The confident Parliamentary Candidate noted that the current MP has already lost the seat based on his abysmal performance.

“We were told that he was bringing a drilling machine to assist with the water challenges facing the people of Binduri but hey, since then and now constituents are still struggling with safe drinking water. Now, tell me, if the machine was there, I do not think safe drinking water will continue to be a problem as we are seeing it now. So, he (MP) is not doing anything that needs another mandate from the good people of Binduri.”

The lawyer by profession spoke on Daybreak Upper East Show on A1 Radio after emerging victorious at the just-ended NDC’s parliamentary primaries.

He stressed that access to better roads in the area continued to be a challenge. “Okay, let us agree that he is in his two years and counting, but his party has been in power for how many years now, yet, access to better roads in the town is bad, and no culvert has been constructed under his watch. Even the Agenda 111 Hospital is abandoned. So, tell me what exactly he is doing.”

He therefore assured the people of Binduri that if given the opportunity, all abandoned projects in the area including the ones that the current MP has failed to work on will be completed and commissioned for use.
