Money, ‘radio politics’ won’t influence people of Bolga East to vote for Mathew Silas Amoah – Isaac Ayemvoa

Isaac Ayemvoa, the Bolgatanga Constituency Secretary for the NDC, is confident that the NDC in the Bolgatanga East Constituency, led by Dr. Dominic Ayine, will retain the seat come the 2024 election.
Speaking on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show today, Mr. Ayemovoa explained that voters in the Bolgatanga East Constituency would not be swayed by the excessive show of money by the NPP PC, Mathew Silas Amoah.
Mr. Ayemvoa explained that, as was the case for the then NPP PC for the Bongo Constituency, Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga, ahead of the 2020 general election, the NPP PC for Bolga would be floored heavily by the NDC MP, Dr. Ayine.
“You have your people who are at home, slept with hunger for so many years, somebody has come with his little funds, is not rich but has sacrificed. He has nurtured them to a particular level and you have come, with funding from somewhere, which may be short lived, hoodwink them into voting for you so that you can go there and recoup whatever you think you have spent. It is a kind of business. That is exactly what is happening. The people know this. When I ask them, they tell me not to worry.”
“Look at what was happening prior to the 2020 elections in Bongo. The whole heavens came down to say that Bongo was a done deal for the NPP. We told them not to do the things they were doing. They virtually said in Bongo that it was a done deal for Ayinbisa. I told them that the people didn’t have sand in their heads,” he said.
Mr. Ayemvoa explained that politics goes beyond what he described as “radio politics,” and as such, the NPP PC has a lot more work to do.
Meanwhile, as the NPP nears its primaries for the orphan constituencies across the country, three names have popped up for the Bolgatanga Constituency. They are Rashid Agana Bawa, Elvis Awonekai Figo, and Rawfield Abileo.
These names are, however, laughable and present no formidable competition to the PC for the NDC, who doubles as the MP for Bolga, Isaac Adongo. This is according to the Bolgatanga Constituency Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Isaac Ayemvoa. Mr. Ayemvoa made these comments when he spoke on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show.
