Constructive criticism is key to building a political career, Rashid Bawa has emphasised. The parliamentary candidate aspirant from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Rashid Agana Bawa, shared his insights on the significance of positive criticism in shaping a more profound political career.
According to Mr. Agana Bawa, it is always important not only to rely on praise from loyal supporters but also to be open to constructive feedback to identify and enhance one’s strengths and weaknesses.
He emphasised that positive criticism is a vital tool for personal growth and political development.
He stated, “In politics, it’s easy to be surrounded by supporters who only want to tell you what you want to hear. While it’s essential to have a strong support system, it’s equally important to seek out differing viewpoints and embrace constructive criticism. This is how we grow and become better representatives of the people.”
Speaking on A1 Radio, he added that the conversation allowed him to better understand the unique challenges facing the Bolgatanga Central Constituency and tailor his policies to address them effectively.
Bawa’s views on this matter reflect his commitment to a transparent and accountable political career.
