The New Patriotic Party in the Upper East Region commends the media for tirelessly policing the government on behalf of the people of the region. In a statement signed by the Regional Director of Communication, Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga, he explained that the commitment of the media in the region to ensuring transparency has not gone unnoticed.

“I want to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for your unwavering support and dedication to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region. Throughout this year, you have played a crucial role in disseminating information, engaging the public, and providing a platform for constructive dialogue. Through your unbiased reporting, you have contributed to informed decision-making and empowered the public to participate actively in the democratic process of our dear country. We recognize the immense value you bring to our society,” portions of the statement read.

Additionally, Mr. Ayinbisa Ayamga explained that this year, the party would continue to work with the media and, to a large extent, the government to continue holding open dialogues that further the development of the Upper East Region.

“We believe that investing in our communication team’s growth is crucial for the future accomplishments of our party. By fostering an environment of open dialogue, mutual respect, and shared goals, we can continue working hand in hand towards a prosperous and inclusive society.

On behalf of the NPP in the Region, I extend our warm regards and deepest appreciation to you for your unwavering dedication, professionalism, and integrity. While I urge you to continue holding our government accountable to the people of the region and by extension our country, I implore you to also continue charting the path of fairness and balanced reportage. Continue offering your large audience very informative programs that will improve our well-being. Our success as a party and government that is more concerned with delivering the developmental needs of our nation is inextricably linked to your invaluable contributions,” he said.
