The Talensi District Assembly, on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024, elected Mr. Akolgo Edward, the Assembly Member for Winkogo Electoral Area, as the Presiding Member, with an impressive 94% endorsement from fellow Assembly members.
The election took place during a session where Assembly members deliberated and cast their votes to choose the individual who would preside over the assembly’s affairs.
