New Force Leader vows to revolutionize politics, tackle poverty and build wealthy Ghanaians

The founder and leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, has declared in a bold and unconventional stance that he would beseech God Almighty to reverse his path if he ever aspired to be like the well-established political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to him, his decision to enter politics is not driven by personal ambition but by a genuine concern for the pervasive poverty in the country, which, over the years, these two political parties have failed to eradicate.

“…but one thing that I refuse to be is to be compared to them or do what they are doing. If that is the mission, I refuse it, and I will ask God to turn me back.”

The philanthropist was speaking in an exclusive interview on A1 Radio regarding his listening tour to the Upper East Region and emphasized that while his individual wealth could make a difference, it falls short in tackling the extensive poverty-related challenges Ghana faces.

“I cannot use my whole wealth to feed the entire Ghana. And I can help to some extent, but not all. That is why I need some constitutional power to do that. I can’t get up as a private individual to do that,” Bediako asserted during the interview. His belief in the necessity of constitutional powers stems from the conviction that without political influence, his efforts to bring about meaningful change may be limited.

He added that he is different from these politicians, and people should see him as a “game changer” rather than a conventional politician.

He reiterated that his primary goal is to revolutionize the political landscape and contribute to the alleviation of poverty in Ghana.

The New Force Movement leader, therefore, highlighted the need for a fresh perspective in governance, emphasizing that his wealth, coupled with constitutional powers, could potentially bring the transformative change the country needs.
