Upper East NDC mourns David Agorogo

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region is mourning the loss of David Agorogo, the Constituency Communication Officer for Bolgatanga Central.

Mr. Agorogo passed away on Monday, April 22nd, 2024 at the Upper East Regional Hospital after a prolonged illness.

In a statement, the NDC Upper East Regional Communication Bureau expressed deep sadness over Agorogo’s demise.

An Islamic burial ceremony has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd at the family house opposite the Regional Library in Bolgatanga. His remains will be conveyed from the hospital morgue at 7:00 am.

“We are deeply saddened to inform you of this loss. During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family,” the statement signed by Regional Communication Officer Jonathan A. Salifu read.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate through this challenging period. May the Almighty grant them strength and solace.”

As a mark of respect for Mr. Agorogo’s “dedicated service and unwavering commitment” to the NDC, the party has suspended all communication activities in the region until further notice. “Rest in peace, dear soldier. Your legacy will forever inspire us,” the statement concluded.
