The New Patriotic Party has announced the death of one of its regional communication team members, Ms. Monica Kondayire, popularly referred to as Monica Kons.

The party described Monica Kons as a cherished member of the party who was committed to promoting the party’s cause in the Upper East Region.

In light of this, the party has suspended communication activities as it deals with the loss. These were contained in a statement signed by the Upper East Regional Communication Director, Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga.

“It is with heavy hearts that the Communication Directorate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) announces the passing of our dear colleague, Madam Monica Kondayire (Alias Monica Kons), a cherished member of our team and a fervent advocate for our political ideals. Monica’s devotion and untiring commitment to promoting our cause in our region have left an indelible mark on our hearts and in our work.”
