Captain Lawrence Lartey, Joseph Attama and Moses Odjer, all instrumental in the Satellites team that are championing Ghana’s course in the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup, will be missing in action when Ghana comes face-to-face with France in the semi-finals.
Their inability to feature for the Satellites is because they picked up yellow cards in the game against Chile, making it the second successive time, which automatically disqualifies them from featuring in the next game.
In the absence of Lartey and Attama, who operates in the heart of defense, the Satellites can rely on Baba Mensah and versatile Alfred Duncan whilst either Michael Anaba or Kennedy Asiah can also replace Odjer in midfield.
They are seeking to equal the performance of their predecessors who in 2009 came home with the price at stake.
