A1 Radio has joined the numerous organizations nationwide that are currently calling parties involved in the election 2012 petition case to remain peaceful when the Supreme Court sitting on the case eventually gives its verdict.
The case is near conclusion and there have been fears of possible confusion, should one of the parties involved in the case refuse to accept the Supreme Court’s verdict.
These fears have sparked widespread calls and campaigns from individuals and various civil society groups and organizations. A1 Radio has therefore initiated the campaign dubbed:
“The A1 Radio’s Campaign for Peace after the Supreme Court Verdict”, to urge listeners especially the youth to remain peaceful after the verdict is given.
The campaign will feature peace messages from heads of the various departments of A1 Radio, A1 Radio’s lead presenters as well as leaders and prominent members of the society.
The peace messages will be recorded and played on our airwaves between now and the time when the Supreme Court’s verdict on the Election 2012 petition case is given.
