Members of the Coalition of Northern Youth Groups have suspended their earlier-planned demonstration in protest of what they described as mismanagement of the Savanna Acceleration Development Authority (SADA).

In a press release copied to A1 News, the Coalition of Northern Youth Groups said the suspension follows a court injunction obtained by the Upper East regional Police Command and served on the coalition restraining them from carrying out the demonstration which was scheduled to take place on Thursday, 15th of August 2013.

It will be recalled that a month ago that Members of the Coalition of Northern Youth Groups at the press conference in Bolgatanga called for the removal of SADA boss, Alhaji Gilbert Iddi, alleging that he was mismanaging SADA recourses.

The call was followed by a threat to demonstrate, if President John Mahama failed to fire the SADA boss within two weeks.
