Controversial musician and member of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame A Plus has given a strong indication that he will go to any extent to see to the scraping of payment for TV license.
The Chief Justice has set up a special court to prosecute all defaulters of the TV lincense.
But in a post registering his displeasure, A Plus indicated that he will organize a demonstration next year against the payment of TV license because the state television station which is mandated to take the monies does not provide value for money with its programmes.
He indicated that he will be the first person to go to jail because he will never pay.
“What is on GTV that anyone must go to jail for not paying to watch!!! First it was tow levy. Now it’s this nonsense. I will never pay!!! 2018 I will organise a demonstration against tv license. I want to be the first to go to jail for not paying TV licence.”
He added that ” Ghanaians are under pressure already. Bring this nonsense and jail them and see what will happen in 2020. Abi you remember the motor court? Nkwasiasɛm nkoaaa!!!! Go on”.
