A 38-year-old teacher at Gowrie senior high technical school in the Bongo District of the upper east region has ended his life by hanging himself.
The deceased identified as Abasiya Zakari was found hanging on a branch of a ‘Nim tree’ with his white long sleeves on Thursday.
His Blue Hoadjin motorbike with registration number M-14-UE 245 was also parked under the same tree.
According to the Bolgatanga Municipal Police Command, a careful inspection on the body of the deceased noticed no signs of violence to suggest any foul play.
But there was no declaration note found at the scene suggesting the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, the body has since been deposited at the Bolgatanga Morgue awaiting autopsy and full report.
